them that we ended up doing Today:
Technology Project.
by Cata and mua.
The project idea is to build a circuit that throw 3 balls and ONLY ONE reaches the target.
circuit must contain a ramp to prosecute, a waterslide, down the long slide, a simple pulley system .. and a goal.
After several failed attempts ..
this was the design of our circuit:
Materials:
1 box
3 wands silicone
1 scotch 2 sticks skewer 1 piece
of Styrofoam
1 piece of hose 1 syringe
1 plastic container
3 balls of wool
1 little
EAVB_IHLSBQIONH
Tools:
1 pair
1 knife 1 gun silicone
1st difficulty: The balls remained stuck in the silicone we use for joining the ramp with the slide.
Solution: put a strip of scotch from the board after the union and paved the road.
the 2nd difficulty: The hose was very hard and we were not able to revolve it necessary to go from side to side of the box.
solution: We made several cuts across the face of the hose was out, so we will rotate the hose without a crease to cut the ball movement.
3rd difficulty: The ball went down the slide at high speed, bouncing in and out of down the long slide.
solution: Change the design down the long slide, and we did it in the form of V where the exterior profile was a bit higher than the inside, preventing the ball from falling out.
the 4th
difficulty building block simple it was not simple! Going to cost us to find a design that would fit the circuit ..
solution: built a rail system with kebab sticks by which to slide the basket.
the 5th difficulty The idea was that the basket had come down ONLY when at least two balls inside. Calibrate the weight of the counterweight pulley was a great show.
solution: We tried several things, in the end we are left with a piece of hose. We were cutting rings until we achieve the perfect weight.
the 6th difficulty: from the basket just a ball had to reach a target site.
solution: put a plastic container where as we had to drop a ball. The size of the container is not allowed inside more than one ball.
The project was completed .. but if not a ball ended the journey into the plastic cup, the project did not meet the target.
